So, whatcha vote for in the hottest 100? Or have you given up on that poll entirely

Hottest 100 is still a fun poll! But mostly because I usually have to add new songs to the list before I vote for them. There’s a certain perverse (not to say arrogant) pleasure in that. I voted before I’d really gotten to know some of the songs above; for example, I would’ve voted for Foster The People’s ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ if I had my time again.
So, I voted for: James Blake, ‘The Wilhelm Scream’; Washed Out, ‘Soft’; Girls, ‘Vomit’; Tune-Yards, ‘Bizness’ (which is probably my favourite song of the year); The War On Drugs, ‘Brothers’; Unknown Mortal Orchestra, ‘Ffunny Ffrends’; M83, ‘Midnight City’; Battles, ‘Ice Cream’; Bon Iver, ‘Holocene’; Holy Ghost!, ‘Wait & See’.
Did you vote? What for?
